Pegasus npo

Registered association for art, culture and youth

The Pegasus npo

Pegasus was founded on December 17, 1987 at the first general meeting in Plaidt.

In its statutes, the association undertakes to promote art, culture and youth. This is done exclusively, as well as directly, non-profit and is checked every three years by the Mayen tax office, then determined by an exemption notice.

The association is a founding member of the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft (LAG) Soziokultur & Kulturpädagogik Rhineland-Palatinate registered association. He has already received state cultural awards. For example, the Mayen-Koblenz district's culture promotion prize was awarded on November 2, 1997 for special voluntary activities and a high level of commitment to regional youth culture work.

Pegasus focuses on promoting art, culture and youth by organizing events. In working groups, the members of the working group, who work exclusively on a voluntary basis, plan attractive events for the fellow citizens of the region with a great deal of time and energy and thus create the platform for artists of all stripes to present themselves to a wide audience. This platform is used annually by around 200 musicians, performers, visual artists and artisans.

Kunst- und Handwerkermarkt
(Arts & Crafts Market)

A lively market activity, mixed with an artistic atmosphere, drives more and more visitors from year to year second weekend in June on the old church square in the heart of Plaidt.

The repertoire of artists and craftsmen from Germany and the surrounding countries, who inspire with beautiful and unusual works of art, has meanwhile brought many friends to the Plaidter arts and crafts market.

The presentation of traditional handicrafts, which is unique in this region, is turned into a forum for rare values such as creativity and attention to detail by artists and craftsmen. In the neighboring Hummerichhalle, numerous regional artists impressively present the diverse and exciting possibilities of expression in the visual arts. The market is accompanied by a wide range of offers such as a wandering bard and musical performances on the stage.

Pellenzer Open Air Festival

Following the principles of the Woodstock Festival "3 Days of Peace & Music", the site of the former Noldensmühle paper mill in Plaidt has been transformed every year since 1983 third weekend in August into a place of pilgrimage for festival connoisseurs.

Against the idyllic backdrop of the Rauscherpark, bands of the most diverse styles take turns on stage. While the program on Friday is usually rockier, there is definitely something to dance on Saturday evening and Sunday usually gives the opportunity to end the weekend with quieter music.

The little visitors will also be well taken care of at the festival, so the hands-on circus offers many opportunities to let off steam.

In addition to the musical program, the family-friendly festival offers a wide range of stands with jewelry, clothing, music, smoked goods and much more. With their exotic and unusual goods, the stallholders make a significant contribution to the cozy and multicultural atmosphere that festival connoisseurs appreciate so much.

6. Analysis Tools and Advertising

Matomo

This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo.

With the help of Matomo we are able to collect and analyze data about the use of our website by website visitors. This enables us, among other things, find out when which page views were made and from which region they come. We also record various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browser and operating system used) and can measure whether our website visitors carry out certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).

This analysis tool is used on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent was requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 Para B. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

IP anonymization

hosting

We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, so that all analysis data remain with us and are not passed on.

7. Newsletters

newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only collected on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers, which are described below, to process the newsletter.

mailchimp

This website uses the services of Mailchimp to send newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

Mailchimp is a service that can be used, among other things, to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address), this will be stored on Mailchimp's servers in the USA.

With the help of Mailchimp we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with Mailchimp, a file contained in the email (so-called web beacon) connects to Mailchimp's servers in the USA. In this way it can be determined whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on. Technical information is also recorded (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyzes can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you do not want an analysis by Mailchimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message.

The data processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have stored with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you have canceled the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remain unaffected.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/eu-us-data-transfer-statement/ and https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processing-addendum/#Annex_C_-_Standard_Contractual_Clauses.

After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is only used for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interests.
